Dear family,
well, blogging is a blast! I don't have any pictures or anything that cool - really, thanks for the video, Malesa! How about posting your next ultrasound? We are fine. Dad drove me to relief society in Clinton tonight where I was on a "women of wisdom" panel. It sounded fun - all the pre-questions they gave us involved mother and wife questions. But when we got there, they had the sisters all write a new question, and that's what they asked us. Well, I sat there silently pulling a blank as they fired question after question of a different type: "When is the best time to plant a garden in this area? How do you attach the chicken wire to the frame of a rabbit hutch? How do you keep wild animals out of your garden? (Answer: hang pieces of Irish Spring soap in the plants, or urinate around the perimeter of the plants.) Boy was I glad when they got to, how do you discipline a child? ANyway, it was fun, and a great feeling with the sisters - 27 were there! There's another baptism in our ward Saturday - a 16-year -old girl who has tried for a year to get her mother to let her be baptized. Lasweek it was a nice young man who builds and races cars, and tonight Steve visited a family with the missionaries, whose 11-yr-old son can't wait to be baptized. Last week we visited that family and he said that and his mom wants to too, but his mom has to work every sunday, and so they can't attend church en0ugh toqualify. We prayed with them that that work schedule problem would be worked out. Tonight she told them that her supervisor is leaving and she is being promoted to her position, and she will have every-other Sunday off! So now they can attend and be baptized!
Well, that's the word from the mission field! Love to you all! Mom

Irish spring soap huh? I wonder if that would still work for the pigeons in NYC.
Congratulations Phillip and Malesa on your little xx! I'm glad you are adding a feminine influence to our family. We are so excited for you guys! We are still here at Mom and Dad's waiting to sell our house. We had one low ball offer but it didn't work out so our home is still on the market. It is empty now after our trip to Utah! We are planning to rent it out so we had to empty it out. It was a crazy, busy, wonderful week and Utah is gorgeous! We loved seeing the mountains again. But Missouri is starting to feel like home too so we are happy. Brinton and Ethan are doing great in school and seem to like it, although Katie thinks their school day is way too long! It's an hour longer than in Utah and she misses her boys! Elizabeth is in a preschool called Joyschool where the moms are the teachers. She loves it! We get to have it at our house next week. There are five kids in the group and it should be fun. Brinton and Ethan play on the same soccer team and Anthony is the coach. Saturday is the big game against Anthony's brother Paul's team. His son Alex is on his team. So it will be brother against brother; cousin against cousin. It should be a great match! I (Katie) have been called to be the Home, Family and Personal Enrichment Leader. I'm so excited! I love Relief Society and being with the sisters. I love this job. So send your great ideas my way! This is your chance to really make a difference and let your opionion be heard. Oh, just to beat Christian to the announcement, the Office season premire is a week from Thursday so be sure to watch! Anthony got two part-time jobs at the hospital; drawing blood and working at the ER front desk. Now I'll have my own vampire. (Twilight fans should like that). He starts in a few weeks unless he finds a job that offers more hours. We are happy and trying to be patient as we settle into this temporary situation. Mom and Dad are so great to us; Thanks, guys! Polo has been on his best behavior too. :) I still feel that we are in the Lord's hands and everything will work out. We love you all!
