Hi family. I hope you have all had a good week. Phil and Malesa, thanks for posting the video and pictures. They were fun to see.

We got home from Missourri on Wednesday and left for Maryland on Friday. I worked in DC Friday and and then we stayed with Megan's sister's family in southern Maryland for the weekend. We had fun visiting and playing games. We played Dance Dance Revolution and Karaoki Revolution on their Nintendo. We held our own on the easy versions and had a good time. That Saturday we went to a waterpark. Spencer loved the pool, as always.

This past Thursday night Megan and Spencer both came down with the flu. I stayed home from work to take care of them and fortuneately they were both feeling much better by Friday evening.

Yesterday we finished up some painting on the dining room and I worked on installing a new light fixture. I broke one of the cardinal rules in replacing electrical units, to pay attention to how things are connected on the old unit before disconnecting them. After connecting the new unit I turned on the circuit breaker and found that the light went on but that the wall switch could not turn it off. I determined the problem must be with that red wire that I didn't know what to do with. After researching on line for about 30 minutes I found an article called "The evil red wire". It addressed the exact problem I was having and I was able to get it fixed.

Have a great week!

Peter

Video!

Hi everyone!
We're going to try and post this video. Don't know if it will work. Hope it does and hope you like it! Personally, my favorite part is when Spencer is in the bathtub. Man, this family sure can make cute kids!

Thanks Pete and Megan and Phil and Malesa for your posts! Hope it's contagious - it seems to be to me!

from mom & dad Sunday 8/19

Dear Kids,

Wow, what a fantastic reunion! We can still goof off better than anyone else I know! Well, I know tomorrow everybody will be working/schooling/etc. So will we. But we will be having all the fun images running around in our heads! We are so proud of all of you and all the great things you're doing! Have a great week, and have a lot of fun too - WE LOVE YA! Polo says "Woof"

P.S. Yes, everyone got home safely, and even fit Em's golf caddy bag in Christian's trunk! Peter and Megan and Spencer had no trouble hitting their 2nd flight, Andy's flat tire is successfully changed now, and his "flat leg" is healing, and Christian's car didn't refuse to start until after it had travelled from Missouri to Salt Lake. Now it's ok. (We trust) We're happy to report that Danny did well and even made some more bucks this tournament and he and Em are probably back together right now. Phil and Malesa did get to see LeMis for Malesa's birthday, and we trust Peter and Megan and Spencer are safely back from D.C. Christian is only homeless for another 6 days, and Katie and Anthony are busy getting Brinton and Ethan ready for school at Skyview Elementary. And Branson still loves parades - you'll have to ask him why.

Starting Blog - Aug 13, 2007

Hi, everyone! This is our family blog spot, Thanks to Malesa! We all want to contribute to this so we have sort of a running letter.

Today we went to Truman Lake with Sam Leipard to jet ski. We had a little collision, and andy wound up with a swollen leg and stiches in his elbow. but aside from that it was Great!
