Hi family. I hope you have all had a good week. Phil and Malesa, thanks for posting the video and pictures. They were fun to see.

We got home from Missourri on Wednesday and left for Maryland on Friday. I worked in DC Friday and and then we stayed with Megan's sister's family in southern Maryland for the weekend. We had fun visiting and playing games. We played Dance Dance Revolution and Karaoki Revolution on their Nintendo. We held our own on the easy versions and had a good time. That Saturday we went to a waterpark. Spencer loved the pool, as always.

This past Thursday night Megan and Spencer both came down with the flu. I stayed home from work to take care of them and fortuneately they were both feeling much better by Friday evening.

Yesterday we finished up some painting on the dining room and I worked on installing a new light fixture. I broke one of the cardinal rules in replacing electrical units, to pay attention to how things are connected on the old unit before disconnecting them. After connecting the new unit I turned on the circuit breaker and found that the light went on but that the wall switch could not turn it off. I determined the problem must be with that red wire that I didn't know what to do with. After researching on line for about 30 minutes I found an article called "The evil red wire". It addressed the exact problem I was having and I was able to get it fixed.

Have a great week!

Peter
